Humm... well I'll start by saying that RRRROlll up the RRRim to win this year has started off on a bad note... I'm only 1 for 3 so far... and to be perfectly honest.. I'm not sure I care for the prizes... Sure I'll take the car... but c'mon what the heck would I do with a boat!?!?  What have I won so far?  a coffee... which I still haven't redeemed yet. 

Today, I've been out to Ft. Augstas to pick up some kids for school in the Elephant... (That's what we call the handicap accesable vans we drive at my new job.  "Pat and the Elephant"  And I absolutly love it... For example, I'm on break now and am at the library.  Kristi is working across the street and hopefully will come over before I go to my next call..

Babylino is growing up so fast... He/She is minus 6 weeks already can you believe it?  Wow... We bought some dipers for him/her and can't wait to bring him/her home for the frist time. 

I'm still lovin' it here on the Island... can't wait for Spring like everyone else I'm sure... my goals this year are to get up to Cape Breton in the Fall... and down to NYC... it's been way too long.  And I'm in a New York State of Mind.

YES!!!! I absolutly love David from American Idol this year.... Not just because Simon and Paula and Mr. Jackson love him... but because I for one still admire humility and he seems to be the most humble (it's just a bonus that he has a kick butt voice.)  I hope you do well David.

Anyway... that's my update... I really do miss you guys and I thank you for your paitence... esp. you j_glaz... hahah..

PAST

These past few months in my life have been a bit scary.. it's one thing to be excited about the "freefall" when you first begin and are psyched about the simple fact that God is at least doing somthing... but I must admit the last few moments before God "catches" you are quite scary.  I feel like the first year was fun... the middle 6 months I was settleing for the 'new normal' and these past 3-4 months were down right crap in your pants scary. 

PRESENT

I have accepted a job offer by the local camp as Assistant Director, handling much of the Spiritual oversight and planning as well as Staff training and all the other little things that come up during a typical day at camp.  Today I was organizing the interview schedule and calling schools to confirm their field trips next month to "Camp for A Day"  It's nice to be busy aging... Can you believe that I totally missed Ellen and Oprah today?  Well I did catch the boy sang the Ocsar Meyer Weiner song at the end of Oprah.

FUTURE

yikes!  I guess I should set some goals like slowly breaking my T.V. addiction.  Just kidding.. I'm really not as much of a t.v. addict as I make it sound... and now I realize that all of you are saying in your mind that I'm just in denial.  Well... think what you must... but I will say that I hope that PHIL get voted off American Idol tonight!!!! I don't really care who the other one should be.. just as long as Phil is voted off!!! And Jordin stays till the end. 

Xanga, let's take this slowly... you've hurt me, I've hurt you.. just because I'm talking to you again dosen't mean I will always have time for you.  You will always be my first "social utility" and I am forever your papalino!

I realize that this happens to everyone.. but last night was one of those night where I thought I was dead tired but stayed up wide awake in bed thinking...  I'm not sure exactly what time I fell asleep, but you know how it goes.  11:01 .... 11:09 ... toss , toss  11:11 oh look it's 11:11.. 1-1-1-1 ... turn..sigh... 11:45... think think thi...zzz 11:46 "was I just asleep?"... all night long.. some of my hightligts were of course 11:11... and 12:34 AND 12:36 you know because 1+2+3=6.... then 1:12.. well... I don't need to bore you with my favorite times of the night.. but I do remember 2:34 and 2:35.  zzzz

That was last night... today however is a new day... a beautiful day...  A great day for eating muli-grain Tostidos and salsa.  A great day for building sand castles and listening to Casting Crowns.  A day... A+ day...

My apartment is currently being invaded by hornets... I have figured out that they are coming in from the vent in the bathroom... up until today they have been very dopey and easy to kill... but there were about 5 in my livingroom playing fighter jets with each other as my wife and I ate our Mini Wheats this morning.  I must stop at the pharmacy to load up on my ammo.  Do pharmacies sell Raid? 

Once I tear gas my bathroom ventalation... I'm not sure what is in store.  Maybe Kriti's lil bro will want to do somthing like go bridge jumping.  Maybe?
